Whether you are a first time hangboarder or have years of experience, we have the workout program for you. Start with the Beginner program to explore the board and get your base level of finger strength in place before moving on to the Intermediate and Advanced programs. The later programs have multi-set support for each grip, where the weight is increased for fewer reps to maximize recruitment.
Hangboarding is about training to failure, which means adding or removing just the correct amount of weight such that your fingers give out at the end of the last set for each grip. Hangboard remembers what you used on each set and, at the end of each set, allows you to specify a new weight for your next workout. In addition, for Intermediate and Advanced programs with multiple sets, the app automatically adjusts the weights from your specified "baseline" - adding 10 lbs/kg for each subsequent set.
The history feature lets you go back and review every rep of every workout. No more losing paper records or leaving notebooks at the gym. During a workout, everything runs on autopilot, the simple interface allows you to note weight adjustments and record the level of success for each set with the tap of a finger. And all that data is available for future reference.
